Website Listing
As a member, you receive a free listing on our online directory. The listing also features your business name, contact information, and website. It can also have logo, photos, link to your social media, business description, and special offers.
Chamber Lobby Display
Chamber Business Members may display promotional material in the Visitor Center lobby and products in our display case.
Newsletter
As a member, you will receive our weekly Chamber Update to keep you appraised of upcoming Chamber events, timely topics that affect your business, and recognition of Chamber Member for awards and milestones in their businesses as well as asking for feedback from members on current issues. The e-news is sent to more than 1,000 members and friends of the Chamber and members have an unlimited number of subscriptions.

The Chamber has more than 10,000 followers on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. We regularly post updates about the area and our members.

Relocation Packet
The Chamber mails hundreds of packets each year in response to requests from people considering relocations to our area and many more are given out in the Chamber office.
Chamber Bucks Program
Chamber Members may agree to accept Chamber Bucks gift certificates in our "keep dollars local" program

Business Breakfast in partnership with Mayland Small Business Center features speakers on topics of interest to local businesses.

Chamber Members businesses are included in our Food & Lodging, Realtor, and Relocation & Professional Service Guides sent in relocation packets and included in new home buyer and visitor packets.
Referral Program
Chamber Members are recommended to visitors and callers and membership directories are provided upon request.
Ceremonies
If you are opening a new business, relocating, building, or expanding, the Chamber will be on hand to perform your ceremony and promote your business with members and the press. new member businesses are listed in the weekly Chamber newsletter.
Calendar
Our website includes an Events Calendar that provides a listing of activities around the county. Members can submit events to be included.

What We Do
Advertising
The Chamber participates in numerous state and regional co-op advertisements, brochure distribution, county maps, and trade shows.
Chamber Sponsored Events
Mt. Mitchell Crafts Fair, Christmas Parade, Burnsville Metric, Halloween on the Square, and NC Scholars Lunch.
Scholarship
The Chamber presents two $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors.
Regional & State Involvement
Member of Southern Tourism Association, Blue Ridge Mountain Host, Blue Ridge Parkway Association, NC Travel Council, North Carolina Association of Festivals & Events.
Committees
Members have the opportunity to serve on the following committees: Crafts Fair, Small Business, Scholarship, Travel & Tourism, Membership, and Events.
